Information about the DSH and TestDaF
In order to study in Germany, you must pass one of the following German language tests:
- DSH
- TestDaF-Prüfung
At Kästner Kolleg we can prepare you effectively for these tests. We are proud of the high pass rate of our former course participants. Both tests can be taken at the TU Dresden.
The TestDaF costs approximately 110 EUR. If already have permission to study, the DSH can be taken at no charge.
Requirements
You must have at least a B1 level of German proficiency in order to attend the preparation course. If that is not the case, you are welcome to attend one of our basic courses to improve your level.
Course Length
Length of course is determined by your starting level of fluency, between 5 weeks for C1/2 to 20 for B2.
Tip
We recommend that you prepare for and pass both tests to ensure the desired start date for your studies.
