Course description
If you wish to maximize your German learning in the shortest amount of time and in addition to general German language skills also have individualized course goals (for example German for finances, German for subject matter, test preparation) then we recommend the Summer Star Course. This course is a combination of 5 group lessons daily (Group Course 25) in the morning and then 1 private lesson unit in the afternoon.
A multifaceted freetime program rounds out your summer course and you can readily try out your newly gained German skills. Field trips and excursions are prepared and accompanied by people who know Dresden well. You will have the opportunity to meet interesting people and places around Dresden. This way you can experience face-to-face a living and authentic Germany.
A typical school day
The "Star Course 25+5" starts each day at 9:30 am and finishes at 3:30 pm. There are three breaks in between during which you can relax in the neighbouring park, help yourself to a beverage from the cafeteria, check your emails, or chat with your friends.
At lunch time, you can get some lunch at one of the many nearby pubs, cafés, biergartens or bistros. Fully recharged, there is a 45 minute private lesson geared to your specific needs. The private lessons can also be used flexibly in another schedule.
After your private lesson in the afternoon you are free to take part in our numerous freetime activities, check out a film from the media centre or surf the internet. It's all included in the price.
Weekends we go on excursions where you can discover Dresden's surroundings, like the enchanting Saxon Switzerland, Berlin or even Prague.
